It can be difficult to lose weight in target areas. When you work out a specific area, it is helpful, but you are usually strengthening the muscles and tendons in that area more than burning fat in that specific area. Burning fat is done by burning more calories than you are taking in. So, if you want to trim down your hips, you don’t have to be so concerned with what exercises will work out you hip area. You should simply focus on the same weight loss techniques you would for overall fitness. Eat right and exercise. As you start to burn fat, you will burn it wherever it may be and that includes the hips. It may not be the first area, and it may not be the fastest to melt away, but if you stick to it, that hip fat is sure to go.
