The Time Savings Of Having Multiple Futon Covers Cannot Be Underestimated
If you aren’t pressed for time these days, I’d like to get your secret because you are probably one of the only people that aren’t. That is, of course, unless you already know the secret I alluded to and now you are laughing it up because of all the time you’re saving when you have guests come to stay. I found this out from a friend who had a convertible futon in their den.
What they did was simply get several different types of futon mattress covers and swap them out. Seemed like one of those strokes of genius to me at the time. I mean, after all, I was spending time getting the beds ready with the old fashioned way. Now, all I have to get the bed from couch ready to bed ready is fold down the futon frame, put on the sheets and I’m done. When my guests leave, we simply take off the sheets, put the cover back on (or change it out with one of several we have to change the look and feel) and fold the frame back up. Instantly, we have a den again with extra space and more flexibility than having to deal with a traditional mattress. Not only that, the cover works perfectly to keep our space fresh and we don’t get bored as quickly.
