Soft fluffy clouds outside the airplane
An astonishing number of people are terrified to get on an airplane. There are so many that won’t even do it. At all. The football commentator John Madden was a classic example of this. Every weekend he had to do a different game from a different city in the US. As a result of his fear he was forced to ride a bus cross-country every week. Now, this must’ve taken a lot of time away from his family. If he had only learned self hypnosis for fear of flying he might’ve been able to conquer this debilitating circumstance. In that case he could’ve replaced his limiting beliefs with ones that were not only freeing, but far more realistic. The fact remains that air travel is much safer than riding a bus for thousands and thousands of miles every year. But try telling that to Madden! I’m sure he’s heard it and I’m sure it didn’t make a difference to him.
