Hair Loss In Women

by admin on August 20, 2009

When most people think of baldness, they think of it as a male problem. However research shows that over half of all women experience hair thinning at some point in their lives. Often this follows menopause, as the hormones in a woman’s body readjust. Fortunately this is a temporary condition for many women, and the hair will return. You can help this process along by taking hair loss vitamins like A, B, and E vitamins as well as eating a diet rich in antioxidants like green leafy vegetables. It is also a good idea to increase the amount of fish in your diet, eat a controlled amount of lean red and white meat, and get plenty of grains, pulses and nuts. All of these can improve hair health!
