If you want to fly to Perpignan there are quite a few options open to you, especially if you are starting your travels in the UK. There are three main carriers offering flights from the UK, they are Ryanair, bmibaby and Flybe. Ryanir is offering the majority of flights from different UK locations including London Stansted, Birmingham and Bristol. You can also fly via Ryanair to Brussels. Flybe have flights from Southampton to Perpignan and Bmibaby fly from Manchester To Perpignan.
The airport itself is located just 10 minutes outside of the city in a place called Rivesaltes which is very handy. It’s always such a pain when the small city airport is situated a good hour outside the city centre. Within the airport there is both a bar and a restaurant as well as a shop for newspapers, books etc. Be warned all the shops and bars tend to shut down when a flight isn’t due shortly, so if you get to the airport too early don’t be surprised if the place seems dead.
