Finding plus size coats is a snap these days as so many stores are now offering entirely new lineups of these sizes or newer stores are setting up shop to sell their plus sized wares. The thing to eliminate from your psyche is that you will never locate what you are looking for. This unproductive attitude is the only thing keeping you from finding your perfect coat, not the stores carrying the clothing.
The best and most helpful tip for shopping in the realm of plus sized clothing is to have fun and know your size. There are a lot of shocked facial expressions when people who thought they were plus sized find out they can just as easily fit into some of the standard larger sizes. The mentality you bring with you during your shopping is going to set the stage for the entire experience. A common mistake is that women who have low self esteem will want to find certain kinds of clothing, but because they are plus size they will repeat to themselves over and over again a mantra that goes something like, “I am never going to find anything!” or even, “nobody ever has my size, so what is the use!”.

While going after plus size coats can be difficult, as with any plus sized shopping experience can be, carrying around the extra baggage of a bad attitude from all of the frustration is not going to help the situation out at all.
