When I was little I would always save my money. I would go outside and pick weeds in the front lawn for about one dollar an hour. My hands were so cold and they would get little cuts on them from digging through the rocks. This hard work as a kid gave me a real appreciation for money. My sister on the other hand was just given money and therefore she just spent it as she pleased. Now I have plenty of savings and she is in need of credit card debt consolidation.
She let her debt get out of control as an adult because she was not taught the value of money as a child. She now has to put all of her debt on a low interest card just to get by. Let that be a lesson to you.
