Over the past few months I’ve read about everything there is to read on church accounting. Clearly that was an exaggeration as books and books exist on the topic, but nevertheless I have read and written quite a bit about the subject. The best site I have found on it is the church accounting software guide. While its true that the site isn’t flashy, it is jam packed with everything you would want to know when you are about to purchase some software for your church.
Some of the best features at the site include the articles on whether or not your church’s computers are up to snuff. There is also an article that explains a little bit about what you should be looking for when your church is thinking about purchasing accounting software. Basically the article states the obvious, that your church should assess its needs before rushing out to purchase. While the article may seem like its common sense, you would be surprised at the amount of people who don’t follow its advice.
